Onam, one of the most significant festivals in Kerala, is a vibrant celebration that spans ten days. It is observed in Kerala in honor of the wise leadership displayed by the mythical demon king Mahabali. During these Onam days, people dress as King Mahabali and walk around the town, giving blessings to families. Even though Onam is a festival related to Hinduism, in Kerala, people celebrate together happily, no matter which caste or religion they belong to.
