The great gatsby : A glimpse into the jazz age

F Scott Fitzgerald's The great gatsby is more than just a love story - it's a razor - sharp look at the American dream and the roaming 1920 s set in the glitzy world of west egg , it follows the mysterious millionaire Jay gatsby and his obsessive love for daisy Buchanan.

Through the eyes of narrator Nick caraway we so how wealth, illusion, and desire collide in a world were appearances mean everything. Gatsby lavish pasties throw in hope of winning daisy back ,are symbols of both hope and tragedy.

At its core, the novel asks : can the past ever they be captured? And what's happens when dreams are built on illusion?

Still haunting and relevant , The great Gatsby remains a timeless table of ambition ,heart break and the dark side of the American dream .
