   Football, known as soccer in the United States and Canada, is the world's most popular sport, also my personal favourite. It is  played by over 250 million players in over 200 countries. Governed by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). Matches are played between two teams consisting of eleven players in each team . The score is obtained by getting the ball into the opposing goal post. Key features of football are :  The Game Structure: Matches consist of two 45-minute halves, with a 15-minute halftime break.
