The Importance of Agriculture and Farmers

Healthy people are the greatest wealth of a country. Health is wealth, and clean food shapes a healthy nation. The people of a country can enter the path of development only if they are satisfied with their basic needs. Its most fundamental factor is agriculture. Only through agriculture can a country make progress. Food is essential for human survival. What good is money if there are no food grains in the utensils? Farming is not only beneficial to a farmer but also to all individuals to renew tgemselves physically, mentally, socially and financially. Farmers are in a close bond with nature all year round. They deserve to be honoured every day.

Agriculture has long been seen as the culture of India. To this end, our future will be sustained if our government goes ahead with a number of agrarian development projects. It is known from statistics that there are about 14.5 crore farmers in India. In the midst of the problems faced by farmers, the Central Government has passed the Agriculture Bill to uproot the farmers. Now it has become law. As prices of produce fell and agricultural debt increased, farmers began to abandon farming. Mechanisation has replaced the place of livestock and small scale farmers. Our country is heading towards a crisis where it is not possible to produce food for the growing population. If conservation is ensured and organic farming is promoted, better living conditions can be achieved. Barren lands can be used for agriculture. We must give priority. Similarly, we must be able to produce grain and other things in our state. The future of India is in the hands of farmers. They play an important role in creating an agrarian culture by protecting the environment to save the country from starvation.
