Mental Health Should Be a Daily Care, Not Only in Crisis When I came to college, I was very happy. Everything felt new—friends, classes, and campus life. But slowly, I started to feel the pressure. There were too many assignments, exams, and late-night studies. Sometimes problems with friends or family added to it. I kept telling myself, “It’s fine, I can manage.” But inside, I was getting tired. One day it felt too heavy, and I didn’t know what to do. That day I understood that mental health is not something we should care for only in crisis. It needs daily care. Before this, I thought mental health meant only depression or something very serious. But now I know it is just like physical health. We don’t wait to brush our teeth only when they are damaged. We do it every day. In the same way, the mind also needs small care every day.
